The 47th La Cloche Art Show in Whitefish Falls, Ontario, wrapped up yesterday. While I didn’t walk away with a ribbon or sell a print, I triumphed over a phobia that had haunted me for nearly 30 years. I took the bold step of entering two of my photos in a juried art show. It’s a bit like my initial hesitation to pick up a Margaret Atwood novel. But once I did, I discovered a whole new world that I now thoroughly appreciate.
