What captured my attention to take this photo was the way the sunlight illuminated the autumn grasses. This truly captivated me, along with the intriguing shadows and lines created by the roadside grasses. However, upon viewing the image on my desktop, I initially felt a bit let down, as it didn't fully reflect the beauty that inspired me to take the shot. These "moments" often get set aside for a while, waiting for me to get a spark of creativity to revisit them.
I’m excited to share the journey I took to transform the original photograph into this abstract piece! Using Topaz 2, a creative photo editing program, I explored various "looks" and ultimately infused vibrant reds into the sunlit grasses, adding green and black accents for depth.
From that first abstract creation, I experimented further, leading to the final artwork I call Cœur et Âme | Heart and Soul.
